Well you couldn't ask for better conditions. The folks working the jigs and their bait produced tonight. We saw a decent amount of shorts but it was still slow a pick, however we did catch some quality fish.
Cathy Melillo had a limit, Big Don had pair and Dereck Robertson had a limit which included the pool fish.

Well it was a great day to be on the water even if the fishing was on the slow side. The folks from ICRI managed 5 keepers and bent the rods with short action. COnditions were less then ideal with wind against the tide for the better part of the day.

Magic Hours 6/6 - Bad conditions made it difficult to fid some movement. We did some powwer drifting and scarped togther a catch. James Rampino boated a limit, with several other anglers bringing home dinner. The short bite was ok but again conditions conditions conditions. Luis Mercano from Carteret took the pool with a 3.9 pounder.
Magic Hours 6/16. Fishng can alwyas be better but the weather was a top 10 evening. Not to hot and not to windy. Managed about 20 shorts for the trip and d keepers. Marc Hogan from Sayreville won the pool with a 3.2 pound flattie.
We are slowly climbing out of the weekend slump. Sailed east today to find plenty of short life with an occasional keeper.As we lost conditions we hit an old spot and had two drifts that saved the day. All quality fish. Sean O'Hara fron Easton PA boxed up his limit and the pool fish which tipped the scales at 4.9 lbs. Overall it was a great day to be on the water.
