A strong east wind and a new moon flood tide made for less than ideal conditions. Despite the conditions we managed 35 shorts and two keepers. Two trips Wednesday 7AM OCean fishing and 5 Pm Magic hours local waters. Selim from Sayreville won the pool.
It was apleasure having Bartons aboard today. The weather limited our options so we made the best out of it. The Barton's crew landed well over 80 shorts but only 6 made the line for keepers. All in all it was agood day.
Great conditions on the 1st drift that soon expired with a wind change. Found a spot holding some shorts and pounded the it for two drifts and landed about thirty shorts and the trips lone keeper. Joe Phillips from Sayreville won the pool uncontested.
