Today, we took the Bay View Rod and Gun Club out for a very difficult day of fishing. Mother nature threw us a curveball, and we battled wind against tide for most of the trip. Though the fishing was less than spectacular, it was a good day on the water shared with good company.
Yesterday morning we had the Brusca/ Scaletti charter aboard. Fishing was much the same as the day before. Shorts were the name of the game, with keepers mixed in. The highlight of the day was an 8.5lber caught by Keith Williams of Middlesex. The weather held off, it turned out to be a beautiful day out.
This morning we had the Canlon crew aboard for their annual trip. The folks aboard had constant action. We hit the shorts heavy today. They worked feverishly at the rail and it paid off. We had a fair catch of keepers.
