Last night we experienced tough fishing. We ventured to some areas that we haven't fished in awhile, along with hitting a few spots that we have. It was a beautiful night but fishing was all around pretty slow.
Monday Bartels Landscaping out for a pleasant day on the water. Fishing was dominated by shorts for most of the day but was an improvement from Sunday with the number of keepers landed. Conditions were best at the end of the day which made the last 2 drifts the best.
Today, we took the Bay View Rod and Gun Club out for a very difficult day of fishing. Mother nature threw us a curveball, and we battled wind against tide for most of the trip. Though the fishing was less than spectacular, it was a good day on the water shared with good company.
Yesterday morning we had the Brusca/ Scaletti charter aboard. Fishing was much the same as the day before. Shorts were the name of the game, with keepers mixed in. The highlight of the day was an 8.5lber caught by Keith Williams of Middlesex. The weather held off, it turned out to be a beautiful day out.
