Charter Raritan Bay & Sandy Hook Bay Fluke 8/21

Today we had the Carteret Elks aboard for day at sea. There was a solid roll from the east all day which made things interesting at time and prevented us from turning the corner and heading south. We pounded the grounds had a decent short bite at times and a better pick of keepers today.

Charter Raritan Bay & Sandy Hook Bay Fluke 8/20

The guys from Oasis Christian Church were aboard for their first annual charter and fish of all shapes and sizes came over the rail with the pool winner weighing at 5lbs. There were plenty of shorts landed, sea robins and a few seabss. At the end of the day everyone left with smiles on there face even though the shorts dominated the bite.

Open Boat Fluke Raritan and Sandy Hook Bays 8/19

Well it was a beautiful day on the water. The fishing finished the same way in which it started shorts, robins, and an occasional keeper. Bring your heavy sticks and weights for the times we jump into the deep.  Mike Murry won today's pool.
